API Monogram
Chương trình cấp chứng chỉ API Monogram của Viện Dầu khí Hoa Kỳ
(American Petroleum Institute – API)
Ngoài chứng nhận hệ thống quản lý chất lượng theo API Spec Q1 & Q2, API còn cung cấp một chương trình API Monogram cho sản phẩm. API Monogram là một chương trình cấp phép tự nguyện, tạo điều kiện sản xuất sản phẩm một cách nhất quán phù hợp với các Tiêu chuẩn API được áp dụng. Các nhà sản xuất được cấp phép có quyền áp dụng dấu API Monogram (đã được đăng ký) trên sản phẩm/thiết bị đáp ứng các yêu cầu.

Tổ chức được cấp phép API Monogram còn chứng tỏ rằng họ đang vận hành một hệ thống quản lý chất lượng phù hợp với Tiêu chuẩn API Spec Q1 – một tiêu chuẩn quản lý chất lượng hàng đầu của ngành. API Spec Q1 đáp ứng hầu hết các yêu cầu của ISO 9001, nhưng bổ sung thêm các yêu cầu đặc biệt cho ngành dầu khí.

Để đáp ứng yêu cầu của Chương trình API Monogram, tổ chức phải:
- Thiết lập, thực hiện và duy trì một hệ thống quản lý chất lượng theo các yêu cầu của Tiêu chuẩn API Spec Q1 (Phiên bản 10).
- Chứng tỏ khả năng (năng lực) sản xuất/cung cấp dịch vụ theo các yêu cầu của Tiêu chuẩn đăng ký. Năng lực này có thể được chứng tỏ bằng sản phẩm/dịch vụ thực tế, máy móc/thiết bị cần thiết, năng lực của con người…
